Senior Vice President & Corporate Secretary, Lincoln Financial Group
Nancy joined the Legal Department at Lincoln Financial Group in 2009 and has held roles of increasing responsibility supporting a number of corporate functions including the Corporate Secretary team. Nancy is responsible for corporate securities, public finance, corporate governance, and Board of Directors matters. She leads a team of lawyers and professionals responsible for enterprise contracts, insurance regulatory, treasury, tax, employee benefits, and M&A functions. She also manages the company’s intellectual property portfolio. Prior to joining Lincoln, she was vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary of Metrologic Instruments, Inc. Nancy began her legal career with an intellectual property law firm in Baltimore, Maryland.
Nancy received her juris doctorate, magna cum laude, from the University of Baltimore in 1994 and her bachelor’s degree in biology from La Salle University in 1988.
Nancy serves as a member of the Executive Board of the Homeless Advocacy Project, a nonprofit that offers pro bono legal services to the homeless in Philadelphia. Nancy is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. She is also a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
