CEO, Domini Investments
Carole Laible, CEO of Domini Impact Investments, has over 20 years of impact investing experience. She is responsible for the overall research and mutual funds operations of Domini Impact Investments. Carole played a key role in the launch of the Domini Impact International Equity Fund, as well as the current investment strategy and sub-manager selection for the Domini Impact Bond Fund and the Domini Impact Equity Fund.
Carole has spearheaded Domini’s pioneering work on systems-level issues and stability, focused on the influence investors can have on systems beyond their portfolio. She launched Domini’s Systems Project, working to evaluate and increase Domini’s systems-level impact, and speaks and writes on the topic.
Carole also serves as a founding member of Sustainability Accounting Standards Board™ (“SASB™”) Investor Advisory Group, engaging with companies on the use of SASB metrics. SASB is an independent 501(c)3 organization that issues industry-specific standards for use in disclosing material sustainability information in filings to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
She works to support diversity in the field of finance, including as a Global Angel member of 100 Women in Finance.
Carole joined the company at its inception in November 1997, after more than ten years of experience in the mutual fund industry. After serving for several years as Domini’s Director of Finance and Compliance, Carole became Chief Operating Officer and then President. Carole holds a bachelor of science degree in accountancy from St. John’s University.
