Angélica Fuentes is a Latin American businesswoman and impact investor who has been recognized by Forbes magazine as one of Mexico’s most influential women and by Refinery 29 as one of the 11 most influential women working for women’s rights and gender equality. She is a Global Advocate for the Girl Up Campaign and the first woman to receive the CEO Leadership Award for championing the Women’s Empowerment Principles (“WEPs”). Currently she participates as a member of the board of directors at Fuerza Migranteand as the coordinator of the Committee on Women.

Throughout her career, Angélica has dedicated significant time and resources to non-governmental organizations (“NGOs”), international organizations, and professional groups that support gender equity causes. Her work in this field has been recognized with numerous honors and awards. Gender equity, women’s empowerment, education, and environmental, social, and governance (“ESG”) investments have always been a priority in all her endeavors. Recently she founded MUVOP, a financial credit institution for women focused on supporting those who lack access to credit and balancing the gender equity gap.
