Yan Laurency concentrates his real estate practice on complex office, retail, and industrial leasing matters.
With over 12 years of experience practicing real estate leasing law, Yan has a significant background in representing and advising prominent New York City landlords and tenants, including major commercial banks, in complex office and retail lease/sublease transactions and in all ancillary documents, including agency and brokerage agreements, letters of intent, work letters, license agreements, lender/ground lessor non-disturbance agreements, and estoppel certificates. He also provides counseling and strategic guidance on deal structures and legal and business issues.
Prior to Blank Rome, Yan served as a leasing associate at several New York-based, boutique real estate firms.
Yan is fluent in St. Lucian Creole.
Outside the Firm
Yan is an avid cyclist and car enthusiast, and participates in several regional and national car shows annually.
