Thomas Callahan has a broad-ranging corporate practice, advising on public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, private equity, equity capital markets, corporate reorganizations, and general corporate law matters. He has advised on transactions across a wide range of jurisdictions and industry sectors.
Prior to joining the Firm, Tom focused his practice on general corporate banking matters with a primary focus on trade and development financings, where he represented U.S., European, Russian and other banks, intergovernmental and other state lenders, and corporate borrowers.
Tom serves as a member of the International Human Rights Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
At Fordham Law School, Tom was a Crowley Scholar in international justice, two-time recipient of international law-related fellowships and served as the Executive Notes and Articles Editor of the Fordham International Law Journal, Volume 39. Tom is a fluent Russian speaker.
Outside the Firm
Tom is an avid traveler and record collector.
