Biography

Ryan Fitzpatrick focuses his practice on patent prosecution and IP strategy. He has significant experience across mechanical, electro-mechanical, and software-related technologies, and works closely with inventors, engineers, and in-house teams to protect and advance their innovations.

Ryan’s patent prosecution experience includes drafting utility and design applications, as well as managing portfolios of domestic and foreign patents and applications. He regularly conducts patentability, invalidity, and non-infringement analyses and detailed legal opinions to support clients’ strategic decision-making.

In his litigation practice, Ryan has supported district court matters and inter partes review (“IPR”) proceedings, including deposition preparation, claim analysis, product-to-patent comparison, and brief writing for key motions.
