Biography
Raymond Arroyo advises clients across industries on a wide range of workplace matters. His practice includes counseling on wage and hour compliance, independent contractor classifications, disability accommodations, reductions in force, and pre-litigation risk assessments. Raymond also has experience conducting internal investigations and drafting litigation motions related to discrimination, labor-management relations, and employment disputes. He also negotiates settlement agreements, drafts employment-related contracts, and provides strategic guidance to HR and business units on compliance and risk mitigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Raymond was an associate at an international law firm, where he also completed secondments for a Fortune 500 company and a professional sports league.
While in law school, Raymond served as a member of the Columbia Journal of Race and Law. Prior to attending law school, he spent four years as a corps member and special education teacher for Teach for America.
