Lyndsay A. Gorton


Lyndsay A. Gorton focuses her practice on litigation and investigations.

Lyndsay has significant experience in government contracts disputes and investigations, including

  • managing all aspects of the litigation process through trial, including motions practice on discovery and summary judgment
  • advising on responding to subpoenas related to federal investigations
  • litigating subcontractor/prime contractor matters

Lyndsay also represents companies before federal and state courts to defend employment-related claims brought under federal laws, such as Title VII, as well as state law, and has advised on several settlement negotiations on behalf of clients. She has handled employment matters in an array of industries, including the hospitality and government contracts sectors.

Lyndsay has also worked on energy matters representing a corporate client in federal preemption and constitutional law matters.


Professional Activities

Lyndsay volunteers at Bread for the City and with the Duke Ellington High School for the Arts’ Street Law project.
