Kelly Jauregui Wueste is an associate in Blank Rome’s policyholder-only insurance recovery practice. Kelly represents corporate policyholders in disputes against insurance companies involving a wide array of insurance policies, including commercial general liability, directors and officers liability, representations and warranties, professional liability / errors and omissions, fiduciary liability, fidelity bond, employment practices liability, first-party property, and cybersecurity. Kelly also represents policyholders in their negotiation and placement of a full range of insurance products, including general liability, directors and officers liability, representations and warranties, trade credit, and first-party property insurance. Kelly’s clients have included private equity firms and their portfolio companies, ERISA pension plans, universities and high schools, nonprofits, individual directors and officers, and numerous Fortune 100 companies.
Kelly has also handled various internal investigations and complex commercial litigations, including breach of contract, intellectual property, employment, and tort claims.
During law school, Kelly was the president of the Latino Law Students Association, served as an article editor for the Michigan Journal of Gender and Law, and volunteered with the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Project. She was the recipient of the Juan Luis Tienda Memorial Scholarship.
Kelly is fluent in Spanish.
