Joshua A. Bachrach


Joshua Bachrach concentrates his practice in the areas of finance, business restructuring, and bankruptcy matters, including:

  • asset-based and cash flow financing
  • acquisition financing
  • commercial financing
  • securitizations and structured financing
  • loan syndications and participations
  • real estate financing

Josh also has experience advising financial institutions on securities and bank regulatory issues in connection with cross-border transactions and compliance, and advising corporates in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and government investigations.

Earlier in his career, he served pro bono as a Special Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia and as a legal consultant in Rwanda for a non-governmental organization.

During law school, Josh was an executive editor on the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, a Global Teaching Fellow, and a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team of the Barristers’ Council.
