Joseph Robinson

Biography

Joe Robinson is a finance attorney with deep experience in corporate transactions, restructuring, and bankruptcy law. He advises clients on a wide range of financial matters, including acquisition financings, syndicated loans, and strategic mergers. His work includes negotiating complex credit agreements, security and pledge documents, and providing regulatory guidance across highly regulated industries.

Before joining the firm, Joe held legal roles in both the private and public sectors, including serving as vice president and assistant general counsel at a leading global financial institution and as a law clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He has represented major stakeholders in high-profile Chapter 11 proceedings, including bondholders, unsecured creditors, and official committees, and has played a key role in debt-for-equity exchanges, 363 sales, and plan negotiations.

In law school, he also served as the topics editor of The Elder Law Journal.
