Jose F. Bibiloni


Jose Bibiloni focuses his practice primarily on corporate restructuring, bankruptcy matters, and financing transactions.

During law school, Jose served as a staff and articles editor of the Temple Law Review and interned with the Honorable Lawrence F. Stengel of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Latin American Law Students Association and the National Lawyers Guild.

Outside the Firm

Jose enjoys playing music in his free time and plays bass guitar in a band called “Out of Practice.”

  • Ravn Air Group, Inc., as co-counsel to debtor, Alaska’s largest regional air carrier, with respect to its Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
  • Borden Dairy Company, as counsel to the agent and first-out lender in $295 million unitranche facility to the second largest dairy processor and distributor in the United States.
  • Welded Construction, as counsel to unsecured creditors' committee of general contractor in connection with approximately $1.7 billion of construction contracts relating to pipeline projects.
  • Orexigen Therapeutics, Inc., as counsel to the Chapter 11 debtor, biopharmaceutical company. 
  • Herald Media Holdings, Inc., et al., as counsel to Chapter 11 Debtors, entertainment and media company consisting of flagship Boston Herald newspaper as well as related website, internet radio station, and mobile applications.
