For more than 20 years, Jon has counseled clients in a wide variety of financial services matters, business and employment disputes, and class actions.
As a litigator, he has handled many novel, complex, and high-stakes cases involving extensive appellate and motion practice. He has briefed and argued over 80 appeals in state and federal courts across the country, and many more substantive and dispositive motions.
Serving as a member of the firm's Financial Institutions Litigation and Regulatory Compliance (“FILARC”) group, Jon regularly represents clients in federal district courts and state courts on a variety of consumer financial services litigation matters, including disputes under TILA, RESPA, FCRA, ECOA, FDCPA, state law UDAP claims, and a variety of common law claims.
Prior to joining Blank Rome, Jon served as counsel for a boutique law firm servicing the New York/New Jersey region, and as vice president and assistant general counsel at a leading multinational investment bank and financial services company. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard B. Klein of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
Outside the Firm
Jon lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Julie. Outside of the practice of law, Jon has worked extensively as a freelance drummer and percussionist, including a national tour of a Broadway musical, and shows in Philadelphia, Atlantic City, and New York City. He also enjoys travel and sports.
