John Sperger has more than 20 years of administrative experience at Blank Rome LLP. He serves as the Secretary to the Firm and works with the Chairman and Managing Partner, Chief Operating Officer, and other officers on governance, organization, and communication issues.
John also works with the General Counsel on policies risk management issues, and is involved in the Firm’s Temple-Tsinghua Internship program.
Prior to joining Blank Rome, John was the Corporate Secretary of Midlantic Corporation, a $14 billion regional banking company acquired by PNC Financial Services Group, Inc., where he:
- managed the administrative functions of the Bank’s legal department,
- handled regulatory compliance during the Bank’s financial difficulties, and
- served as a member of the team that reorganized Midlantic, producing over $100 million in expense savings.
John earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brown University and his MBA from Temple University.
