James R. Barnett

Biography

James Barnett concentrates his practice on general litigation matters.

James previously served as a summer associate at Blank Rome. He also served as a law clerk to Judge Sim Lake of the Southern District of Texas and Justice John P. Devine of the Supreme Court of Texas as well as a judicial intern to Justice J. Brett Busby of the Texas Fourteenth Court of Appeals and Judge David Hittner of the Southern District of Texas.

During law school, James was an articles editor of the Texas Law Review and the online content editor of the Texas Review of Law and Politics
