Biography
Jackielyn Abellada brings nearly two decades of focused experience representing clients in complex family law matters. A Certified Family Law Specialist, Jackielyn is known for her steady courtroom presence, sophisticated litigation skills, and deep understanding of the financial issues that frequently arise in high-stakes domestic relations disputes.
Jackielyn’s practice spans the full spectrum of family law, including divorce, custody, support, property characterization and valuation, domestic violence, and parentage matters. She has extensive experience handling evidentiary hearings, settlement conferences, and trials, and has conducted both civil and family law bench trials as well as a multi-week civil jury trial earlier in her career. Her litigation background also includes matters involving allegations of abuse, complex forensic issues, and significant financial disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Jackielyn served in leadership and senior roles at several California family law practices, where she supervised teams of associates and paralegals, managed large portfolios of active matters, and provided training on topics including stock and RSU valuation and the use of forensic accountants in family law cases. She has also served on multiple court-appointed and volunteer panels, including the Minor’s Counsel Panel, the Daily Settlement Officer Panel, and various mediation and settlement programs across Los Angeles and Alameda Counties.
Jackielyn began her career advocating for vulnerable children and families, including service as a staff attorney at a statewide legal services organization and as counsel representing minors in juvenile dependency proceedings. This early work continues to inform her compassionate, client-centered approach and her commitment to helping families navigate challenging transitions with clarity and stability.

Jackielyn enjoys Pilates and walking; and spending time with friends, family, and her pets.
