J. Caleb Anderson


J. Caleb Anderson concentrates his practice on general business and corporate matters. He counsels private equity firms and both privately-held and publicly-trades companies in areas such as:

  • mergers and acquisitions
  • finance
  • IP transactions
  • corporate governance
  • general corporate matters 

Before joining Blank Rome, Caleb was an associate at a Denver, Colorado-based law firm, where his practice focused on representing and advising business entities and financial institutions primarily on securities transactions, including public and private offerings, mergers and acquisitions, emerging growth companies, and Canadian cross-border transactions. 

Prior to law school, Caleb worked as an associate in numerous asset management and private equity firms. Caleb began his career at BlackRock Investment Management before transitioning to Apollo Management and then to Perella Weinberg Partners, a boutique investment bank and asset management firm. His career on Wall Street provided him with experience in providing institutional and retail clients with solutions on multi-asset portfolios, raising capital for large private equity offerings, and building long-last customer relationships by providing client-centric solutions.

Caleb is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.

Outside the Firm

Outside of the office, Caleb enjoys rock climbing, running half-marathons, snowshoeing, and traveling.

Professional Activities

Caleb has been active in pro bono matters throughout his legal career, most recently assisting small business clients in Denver Legal Night, a nonprofit community organization. Caleb also served as a volunteer attorney for the Faculty of Federal Advocates, an organization dedicated to helping individual debtors through bankruptcy petitions in federal bankruptcy courts. Additionally, Caleb has been an active member of the Colorado LGBT Bar Association, and has served on board of directors of numerous community and nonprofit organizations.
