Heewon Lee

Heewon Lee concentrates her practice on commercial and corporate litigation matters.

Heewon represents corporate clients in both federal and state courts in matters involving false advertising, false reference pricing, insurance and real estate disputes, breach of contract, and tort. She has defended a Fortune 500 client in litigation involving California and federal consumer protection law. She has also obtained favorable results for clients, including an approximately $31 million judgment in a real estate dispute case.

Outside of the courtroom, Heewon actively participates in pro bono work, providing legal services to those in need and supporting various charitable organizations. Heewon has consistently been named to the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll in 2024 and 2025, providing 100 or more hours of pro bono service each year.

Prior to joining the firm, Heewon was a litigation associate at Larson LLP in Los Angeles, where she represented clients in complex civil litigation and white-collar matters, involving accounting, investment, and tax fraud. Heewon also previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Mark D. Houle of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.

During law school, Heewon served as a judicial extern to the Honorable André Birotte, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and as a legal extern at the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Fraud Section. Heewon was also a member of The George Washington Law Review and was actively involved in the Student Bar Association as Student Senator and Director of Student Affairs.

Heewon holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland, a background that informs her work on complex financial and technology-related matters.

Heewon is fluent in Korean.
