Biography
Glen L. Abramson brings more than two decades of experience in complex litigation, with a national track record leading landmark class actions and high-stakes commercial disputes, Having secured more than $700 million in recoveries for clients as a former plaintiffs’-side class action lawyer, he brings a unique perspective to defending class action litigation and has a deep knowledge of the strategies used by plaintiffs’ class counsel across privacy, consumer protection, securities fraud, and whistleblower claims.
Glen’s practice focuses on cutting-edge issues at the intersection of technology and law, including digital surveillance, artificial intelligence, biometric data, and privacy issues. He has represented clients in cases involving misuse of online tracking technologies, algorithmic discrimination, and violation of state and federal privacy statutes such as the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (“ECPA”), the Children’s Internet Protection Act (“CIPA”), and the Biometric Information Privacy Act (“BIPA”).
Prior to joining the firm, Glen held senior roles at prominent national litigation firms, where he successfully managed dozens of privacy-related class actions and achieved significant recoveries in securities and insurance litigation.

Glen enjoys traveling, reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, dancing, golf, and spending time with his family.

- Multiple classes of patients alleging privacy violations against hospitals using website tracking technologies, resulting in more than $80 in class action settlements.
- Long-term care insurance policyholders against a national insurance company, resulting in $200 million in cash relief and more than $500 million in enhanced insurance benefits.
- Investors in municipal bond funds against a U.S. asset management firm, resulting in settlement of $89.5 million.
- Relators in False Claim Act litigation against a national retail pharmacy, resulting in a $5 million recovery for the United States and the State of Illinois.
- Universal life insurance policyholders against an international hedge fund exposed to the Madoff ponzi scheme, resulting in more than $100 million in recoveries.
