Garrett P. Buttrey concentrates his practice on a wide range of labor and employment law compliance and litigation matters.
Garrett has significant experience litigating labor and employment matters before federal and state courts, the NLRB and EEOC, and arbitrators, including:
- Workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other misconduct
- Unfair labor practices
- Prosecuting and defending restrictive covenant agreements
- Wage and hour violations
Garrett also has notable experience in negotiating collective bargaining agreements, counseling clients through day-to-day employment decisions and policy implementations, and conducting workplace investigations into claims of employee misconduct, disciplinary actions, workplace safety, and wage and hour compliance.
During law school, Garrett served as the developments editor for the George Mason Law Review.
Outside the Firm
Garrett enjoys golfing and cheering on his favorite Tennessee sports teams and the Washington Nationals.
