Elena P. Jacque

Biography

Elena Jacque’s concentrates her practice on all aspects of corporate and securities law, with a particular focus on:

  • mergers and acquisitions
  • joint ventures
  • securities regulation
  • public and private offerings
  • general corporate matters

Elena assists public and private companies in M&A transactions and securities offerings, including representing underwriters and issuers in public equity offerings, and underwriters, issuers, and collateral managers in matters involving the structuring, securitization, and refinancing of collateralized loan obligations.

Elena also represents entrepreneurs and emerging companies as their outside general counsel on a variety of matters, from entity formation and corporate governance to financings and M&A exit events. 

During law school, Elena served as an associate editor of the Fordham International Law Journal and managing editor of the Fordham Dispute Resolution Society. 

She is fluent in Spanish, Russian, and Bulgarian.

Professional Activities

Through the Firm’s relationship with Kids In Need of Defense (“KIND”), Elena works with our litigation group in representing pro bono clients in Special Immigrant Juvenile Status cases, including Family Court proceedings and Immigration Court removal proceedings.
