Daniel Belzil is an associate in Blank Rome’s policyholder-only insurance recovery practice, where he handles plaintiff’s first and third-party insurance litigation matters.
Prior to joining Blank Rome, Daniel was an associate at a New York-based policyholder recovery boutique, where he obtained favorable outcomes for his clients, primarily from property insurance carriers. He also held trial and appellate-level judicial law clerk positions.
During law school, Daniel was an articles editor of the Vermont Law Review, and taught legal writing courses as part of the Dean’s Fellowship program. He also interned at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland and the Environmental Protection Bureau of the New York Attorney General’s Office.
Daniel is proficient in French.
Outside the Firm
When he is not practicing law, Daniel is an avid sportsman and outdoorsman. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and son.
