Daniel L. Jones Jr.

Biography

Daniel “Casey” Jones is a trial attorney who focuses his practice on litigating complex matters, including transportation, asbestos litigation, products liability, mass torts, and toxic torts. Casey has a broad range of litigation experience, having represented clients as national and regional counsel in Federal Employers’ Liability Act (“FELA”) cases, asbestos cases involving a broad spectrum of products and premises defendants, and diacetyl / butter flavoring, tobacco, and Phentermine litigation. He has defended claims in over 20 different state and federal courts involving a wide variety of injuries, as well as claims seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

Casey serves as national trial counsel for the former Penn Central Railroad, defending the company against occupational exposure and repetitive stress cases brought under FELA and, in that role, serves as First Chair at all trials brought against the client. 

Casey is also National Trial Counsel for APU Consolidated, Inc., handling asbestos claims brought against the company. Casey also has significant experience defending a major shipping defendant against claims brought by plaintiffs under the Jones Act, as well as other occupational exposure lawsuits brought against the company.

In his role as National Counsel, Casey has extensive experience negotiating pending claims brought against his clients.
