Charles R. Wolfe Jr.

Biography

Charles Wolfe concentrates his practice in patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret counseling and litigation before U.S. District Courts, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. His experience also includes:

  • defending Paragraph IV Hatch-Waxman patent infringement actions for generic pharmaceutical companies
  • counseling on patent infringement, validity and enforceability, and related issues
  • managing large U.S. and international patent portfolios
  • prosecuting patent applications and post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office

Prior to entering private practice, Chuck served as a patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Chuck has received the highest possible rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Outside the Firm

Chuck is an avid fisherman and proud grandfather to his four wonderful grandchildren.

  • Chief IP counsel to global manufacturer of electrical connectors for communications, industrial, medical, and military markets.
  • Chief IP counsel to global manufacturer of component and subsystem devices for automotive communications, aerospace, rail and other transportation industries and industrial application.
  • Lead litigation counsel to generic pharmaceutical companies in Paragraph IV Hatch-Waxman patent infringement actions.
