Benjamin R. Reyes

Biography

Benjamin R. Reyes concentrates his practice on a wide range of general litigation matters.

Benjamin previously served as a summer associate at Blank Rome. Prior to joining the firm, Benjamin served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Judge Timothy J. Kelly at the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia and a student law clerk for the United States Agency for International Development, Office of the Inspector General in their Office of the General Counsel. And before he pursued his legal career, Benjamin served in the federal government as a senior policy and planning analyst at the agency and department level of the Department of Homeland Security where he worked in strategic planning and formulated multi-year appropriations for information technology initiatives.

 During law school, Benjamin served as a student attorney for the AU WCL Defense Clinic, a note and comment editor for the American University Law Review, and a research assistant in the areas of criminal defense. He was member of AU WCL’s nationally-ranked mock trial team where he competed in multiple competitions throughout the country and was awarded with the AU WCL Professor Anthony Morella Professionalism Award in Trial Advocacy.
