Biography
Aubre G. Dean concentrates her practice on a wide range of litigation matters.
Aubre has experience representing foreign states, state-owned entities, and private parties in federal and state court in a variety of litigation, including judgment enforcement actions, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, trade secret, and other complex commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Blank Rome, Aubre served as an associate attorney at a New York-headquartered international law firm.
During law school, Aubre served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Kiyo Matsumoto of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York through the Sonia and Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program. Additionally, Aubre was associate notes editor of the Syracuse Law Review and a national octofinalist in the National Moot Court Competition.
Pro Bono
Aubre maintains an active pro bono practice and has submitted several amicus briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court on cases involving LGBTQ+ and veterans’ issues. She previously helped secure the early release of an incarcerated client as a result of federal civil rights litigation.
Outside the Firm
Aubre enjoys spending time with her wife, Erika, and two dogs, Prim and Pinot. On most weekends you will find her doing something sports related. She is an avid fan of Texas A&M and Dallas-based teams.
Affiliations
Aubre works with several nonprofits to advance equity in education. Additionally, she serves on Texas A&M’s Association of Former Students’ Leadership Council as a class agent. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, New York City Bar Association, and Texas Aggie Bar Association.
