Ashton Batchelor serves as Blank Rome’s Chief Innovation and Value Officer, where she oversees innovation, client value and solutions, practice analytics, and practice management functions. By bringing innovation and client value within one strategic function, she aligns the firm’s adoption of cutting-edge technologies with strategies that enhance client outcomes, profitability, and operational efficiency, ensuring that advancements in legal service delivery are designed with client needs and firm economics in mind.In this role, Ashton co-leads the firm’s artificial intelligence (“AI”) transformation, focusing on leveraging advanced technologies to deliver measurable client outcomes, optimize business operations, and align with strategic growth objectives, and is a frequent speaker on deploying AI in legal services.Ashton specializes in driving attorney adoption of emerging analytics and AI platforms, translating complex technologies into practical management tools for lawyers and firm leaders. She develops pricing and matter management strategies that maximize efficiency and value, working closely with practice groups, leadership, and business professionals to create profitable, innovative solutions.With more than 15 years of experience in legal operations, Ashton has guided firms in launching and scaling strategic initiatives to transform legal pricing, profitability models, legal market positioning, and the development of client-facing solutions that transform legal service delivery.Prior to joining Blank Rome, Ashton served as Chief Value and Analytics Officer for a national law firm, where she launched programs in legal pricing, matter management, profitability, and analytics.
