Andrew M. Williamson concentrates his practice on a variety of consumer finance litigation matters, including disputes under TILA, RESPA, FCRA, ECOA, and FDCPA, state law UDAP claims, and a variety of common law claims. Andrew also handles a variety of real estate litigation and commercial litigation matters. Andrew regularly represents clients in federal district and bankruptcy courts, and state courts throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and across the country.
Prior to joining Blank Rome, Andrew was senior counsel for a national boutique consumer financial services and commercial litigation law firm. In that capacity he regularly litigated and managed class action, real estate, and consumer financial services litigation cases throughout the United States. Andrew also has prior experience as a federal prosecutor and defending professional liability claims.
During law school, Andrew served as an editorial board member of the American University Journal of Gender Social Policy & The Law, and a member competitor of the Mock Trial Honor Society. He was a legal intern for the White House Executive Office of the President, and a summer clerk to the Honorable Gary L. Crawford of the Montgomery County District Court.
