Amy Williamson focuses her practice on labor and employment matters, with particular experience in developing effective corporate compliance programs as well as providing counsel on various employee relations matters, litigation, and strategic risk management training.
Amy has a notable corporate background of senior leadership positions in both legal and human resource sectors. More specifically, her experience includes a breadth of corporate compliance initiatives and responsibilities, such as managing corporate policies, managing and conducting internal investigations, developing corporate ethics training, and liaising with various government agencies in response to external audits. She is proficient in responding to ethics violations, such as fraud, conflicts of interest, and harassment, as well as creating an enlightened corporate culture to minimize risk.
Amy is well-versed in providing strategic business support to all lines of business on human relations matters, such as employee relations, workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent development, and overall business strategy. She has experience managing and training teams of human relations representatives, such as generalists and talent acquisition specialists, as well as human resource processes and policies. With over sixteen years of experience as a commercial litigator, she has maintained a proficient litigation practice throughout her career with a notable focus on employment and compliance matters.
Prior to joining Blank Rome, Amy served as the corporate compliance officer and counsel for Crown Castle, where she first joined as a litigation attorney in October 2006 and advanced to serving as associate general counsel and vice president of human resources.
