Amanda N. Pickens-Ewell

Biography

Amanda Pickens-Ewell concentrates her practice on a wide range of labor and employment law matters. Pulling from her experience as an associate at an international labor and employment law firm and independent business consultant, Amanda advises employers on employment issues such as employment policies and decisions, contract disputes, wage and hour issues, workplace investigations, and union-related claims/grievances, among others.

During law school, Amanda served as a judicial law clerk for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and a legal department intern for Black Entertainment Television Network. She was also a senior staff member of The Federal Circuit Bar Law Journal, mentor for the Black Law Students Association, and member of the Entertainment & Sports Law Association.

Outside the Firm

Amanda enjoys filming and editing short documentary files, creative writing, and playing soccer.
