Adam J. Florek

Biography

Adam is an associate in the Chicago office. He focuses on corporate and commercial litigation, assisting financial institutions and private equity firms resolve a wide range of business disputes in federal and state court. He is familiar with issues arising under the Securities Exchange Act, Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act, and Articles 2 and 8 of the Uniform Commercial Code. He also has experience drafting and responding to dispositive motions and managing a docket of complex commercial matters.

Before joining Blank Rome, Adam clerked for the Honorable William J. Bauer of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Honorable Charles R. Norgle of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

In law school, Adam served as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Information Technology & Privacy Law and was a Dean’s List scholar. He was also an intern in the PRM Realty Group's General Counsel's office and a judicial extern with the Honorable Magistrate Judge Jeffrey Cole of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Outside the Firm

Adam collects records and comic books and is an aspiring strongman.
