Rob Weaver Appointed to Philadelphia Youth Network Board of Directors

Blank Rome LLP Chief Risk & Security Officer Robert Weaver has been appointed to serve a two-year term on the Philadelphia Youth Network Board of Directors. In this role, Rob will help further the Philadelphia Youth Network’s mission of creating coordinated systems for attaining academic achievement, economic opportunity, and personal success for Philadelphia’s youth, as well as provide strategic direction and planning for the organization’s ongoing health and welfare.

At Blank Rome, Rob provides strategic information security risk program leadership relative to information governance, technology, meeting client obligations, compliance, policy, business continuity, crisis response, physical security, privacy, and other areas. As a subject matter expert, he also provides substantive technical support to our attorneys regarding cybersecurity issues.

Rob has over 25 years of experience in IT & risk management, with the majority of that time dedicated to security. He has extensive experience developing and managing enterprise security risk management programs in regulated industries, such as financial services and pharmaceuticals. Rob also serves as an adjunct professor at Albany Law School and a frequent speaker on security topics at industry events.
