Blank Rome partner Michelle M. Gervais will serve as the recruitment chair for the American Cancer Society's 2024 Tampa Bay Men Wear Pink (“MWP”) program, which focuses on raising awareness and funds to end breast cancer.
MWP is an opportunity for men and those who identify with masculinity to take a leadership role in the fight against breast cancer. This program works alongside American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® events by giving communities the opportunity to nominate local leaders.
As recruitment chair, Michelle is responsible for recruiting MWP leaders in Tampa Bay. These leaders then spearhead fundraising efforts for American Cancer Society breast cancer initiatives. Every dollar raised helps save lives from breast cancer through early detection and prevention, innovative breast cancer research, and patient support.
The MWP movement began in Jackson, Tennessee, in 2013, and there are now 103 campaigns nationwide. To learn more about Tampa Bay MWP, please click here.
