Mark Lee Appointed to the Executive Committee of the Federal Criminal Law Committee for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Mark. M. Lee, a trial lawyer and former federal prosecutor, has been appointed to serve on the executive committee of the Federal Criminal Law Committee for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In this role, Mark will work with other executive committee members to provide strategic direction and planning for the organization.

Established in 1988, the Federal Criminal Law Committee for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania is dedicated to addressing issues concerning criminal defense in the federal courts. The Committee’s mission is to facilitate the fair, speedy, and effective administration of criminal justice. In nearly 25 years of its existence, the Committee has hosted innumerable continuing legal education seminars and events featuring prominent members of the defense bar, federal prosecutors, United States probation officers, Bureau of Prisons officials, and federal judges at all levels, speaking to legal issues relating to the administration of criminal justice in the federal courts. A member of Blank Rome’s White Collar Defense and Investigations group, Mark defends corporations and executives against investigations and prosecutions conducted by the federal government. Mark also helps his clients manage and avoid risk by conducting internal investigations and corporate compliance assessments on their behalf. Outside of the Firm, Mark sits on the board of directors of the National Black Child Development Institute and is also a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Philadelphia Bar Association, Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Temple American Inn of Court.
