Leigh Ann Buziak

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that partner Leigh Ann Buziak, who leads the firm’s Trade Secrets & Competitive Hiring team, has been selected as a member of The Forum of Executive Women, Philadelphia’s premier women’s leadership organization. In this role, Leigh Ann will work closely with other executive women to expand the impact and power of women in the workplace and beyond. She joins partners Yelena M. Barychev and Sophia Lee, who are active members of The Forum.

Founded in 1977, The Forum is comprised of a network of 500 women leaders who are dedicated to increasing the number of women in leadership roles, expanding their impact and influence, and positioning them to drive positive change in the region. As part of its mission, The Forum strives to make the voices of women leaders heard; provide a forum for the exchange of views and information; advance the cause of parity in the corporate world; support members for leadership roles; promote the contributions and skills of Forum members; mentor younger women as they advance in their careers; and serve as a source of influential contact, business referrals, and friendships. At Blank Rome, Leigh Ann represents clients in various types of business disputes, with a concentration in handling difficult employment and intellectual property issues. She concentrates her practice on drafting, negotiating, and litigating non-compete agreements, pursuing departing employees for misappropriation of trade secrets, and defending companies from accusations of the same. She also provides strategic advice and counsel in employment matters, litigation risks, and investigations, and was recognized as a Best of the Bar for employment litigation by the Philadelphia Business Journal in 2019.

Active in Blank Rome’s women’s initiatives, Leigh Ann serves as a member of the firm’s Women Forum, which provides women attorneys with valuable networking, educational, and mentoring opportunities that support and promote career advancement, leadership development, and overall strategies to succeed. She also sits on the planning committee for the firm’s annual Women’s Leadership Summit, which was held for the fourth time in October and virtually brought together more than 600 women leaders in law and business.
