Blank Rome is pleased to share that of counsel Evan J. Zucker has been elected to the American Bankruptcy Institute’s (“ABI”) Board of Directors.
In this role, Evan will help promote the interests of the organization and its members, including contributing to the profession’s advancement through thought leadership, and will serve on one of the eight board committees. Evan was a member of the ABI’s 2019 Class of the 40 Under 40 Program, which recognizes “insolvency professionals who are committed to the highest standards of achievement at work and in their communities.” Evan has also served in leadership positions on ABI’s International Committee and the Advisory Board for ABI’s Caribbean Insolvency Conference.
The ABI is the nation’s largest association of bankruptcy professionals, made up of nearly 10,000 members in multi-disciplinary roles, including attorneys, auctioneers, bankers, judges, lenders, professors, turnaround specialists, accountants, and others. ABI is committed to serving members with high-quality conferences, comprehensive continuing education, effective legal research, and dynamic networking opportunities.
At Blank Rome, Evan concentrates his practice on corporate reorganizations and related complex litigation in national and cross-border matters. He frequently represents foreign representatives in Chapter 15 proceedings, creditors’ committees, secured creditors, indenture trustees, executory contract parties, and other key parties in interest.
