Edward Chang Joins Rails-to-Trails Conservancy Board of Directors

Ed Chang

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Edward W. Chang, who serves as vice chair of the Firm’s Consumer Finance Litigation group, has been appointed to the board of directors of Rails-to-Trails Conservancy (“RTC”), the nation’s largest trails organization.

For more than three decades, RTC has worked to bring the power of trails to more communities across the country. With more than one million grassroots supporters and 23,000 miles of rail-trails nationwide, RTC has served as the national voice for trails, setting the precedent that rail-trails are need-to-have community assets and establishing policies and practices that ensure these trails are built. As a member of the board, Edward will work with other board members to strengthen RTC’s mission of creating a nationwide network of trails and more bikeable, walkable communities in the United States.

In addition to his involvement with RTC, Edward serves as chair of the board of the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, which is a founding partner of the Circuit Trails, an RTC signature project and one of the largest multiuse trail networks in America. Once the project is complete, the Circuit Trails will encompass 800 miles on both sides of the Delaware River, providing endless opportunities for commuting and recreation for more than 3.1 million people in the region.
