Mike was recognized in the Distinguished Leader category, an accolade that acknowledges legal professionals who have achieved remarkable results in the past year and demonstrated exceptional leadership skills.

Who is a mentor you admire and why?
My father, Michail Schaedle. He was a professor and a scientist. My dad was tough, whip smart, survived war and depression, but privileged kindness in his dealings with the world.
The legal field is constantly facing new challenges every year. What does the legal profession need to do to prepare the next generation of lawyers?
As my mentor at Blank Rome, Ray Shapiro always says, you have to have a passion for the law and a commitment to the rule of law to succeed as a lawyer in full. Our job is to show the next generation that passion and commitment in our everyday approach to the work.
