Blank Rome’s Sophia Lee Elected to the APABA-PA Board of Directors

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Sophia Lee, who serves as a member of the Firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, has been elected to the board of directors of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania (“APABA-PA”) for a one-year term. She was sworn in by the Honorable Stella M. Tsai, Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge, at the APABA-PA Lunar New Year Banquet, which was held February 2, 2018, at Ocean Harbor Restaurant in Philadelphia.

The APABA-PA serves a wide network of Asian Pacific American attorneys admitted or practicing in Pennsylvania, Northern Delaware, and Southern New Jersey. It educates its members about issues critical to Asian Pacific Americans and advances the interests of Asian Pacific American attorneys as well as the interests of the local Asian American community. As a member of the board, Ms. Lee will focus on APABA-PA’s continuing engagement in the legal and broader communities, and provide strategic direction and planning for the organization’s ongoing health and welfare. At Blank Rome, Ms. Lee concentrates her litigation practice in the energy industry, handling commercial, environmental, products liability, and toxic tort matters. She is a frequent lecturer and CLE faculty presenter on matters concerning litigation management and best practices, e-discovery and information management, professional responsibility and ethics, trial advocacy skills, substantive legal issues, and diversity and inclusion in the legal profession for various legal associations, organizations, law schools, and law firms.
