Blank Rome’s Dayna Finkelstein Begins Adjunct Professor Position at Thomas R. Kline School of Law, Drexel University
Blank Rome Partner Dayna C. Finkelstein has begun her first adjunct professor position at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Drexel University in Philadelphia, where she is teaching a contract drafting course to second and third year law students.
In this course, students will develop basic skills needed to draft and revise contracts. Through a variety of writing assignments, students will learn the components of typical contracts and their purpose, as well as the ways in which the substantive content can be customized to satisfy a particular client's needs and concerns. This involves translating deal points into contract concepts, as well as revising legal boilerplate to enhance and protect a client’s interests. Students will also gain insight into the perspectives of various parties to a transaction by reviewing, negotiating and drafting contract language from all vantage points.
At Blank Rome, Ms. Finkelstein concentrates her practice on commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and joint venture work. She represents real estate owners, borrowers, developers, tenants, and stakeholders in both local and national transactions. She has also represented various pro bono clients through Philadelphia VIP. In the past, Ms. Finkelstein has served on Blank Rome’s Associates Committee and has been a mentor to summer associates through the Firm’s summer associate program.
