Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that partner Anthony B. Haller has been appointed to serve as a Public Trustee of the American Inns of Court Foundation. Anthony previously served as an Elected Trustee of the American Inns of Court Foundation for two consecutive terms from 2012 to 2020.

The American Inns of Court inspire the legal community to advance the rule of law by achieving the highest level of professionalism through example, education and mentoring. An American Inn of Court is an association of lawyers, judges, and other legal professionals from all levels and backgrounds who share a passion for professional excellence. The Inns have gained a national and international reputation as associations of lawyers which bridge the gap between formal law school education and legal practice by offering mentoring and career-long continuing education in the Common Law tradition and which promote the attainment of professionalism, ethics, civility, and excellence. In 2019, Anthony was elected as a Master of the Bench of Gray’s Inn, London, which is a lifetime office in recognition of the contribution that a barrister has made to the life of the Inn or to the law, and is a rare distinction for a barrister admitted and practicing in a foreign jurisdiction. Anthony received this honor in recognition of his contributions to the American Inns of Court, the links he has helped forge between Gray’s Inn and the American Inns of Court, and the bonds he has helped foster between the American and English Inns of Court.

At Blank Rome, Anthony concentrates his practice on all aspects of labor and employment law, including preventative counseling, complex litigation, trial, and appellate work. He served on the firm’s Executive Committee from 2010 to 2020, served as chair of the Labor & Employment group from 2008 to 2013, and currently leads the firm’s Trade Secrets & Competitive Hiring practice. Anthony is ranked as a leader in labor and employment law by Chambers USA, Chambers Global, Best Lawyers, Benchmark Litigation, and Super Lawyers. He was named an Employment Law Trailblazer by The National Law Journal, a Pennsylvania Trailblazer by The Legal Intelligencer, and a Client Choice Award Winner by Lexology in 2020, as well as an Influencer of Law by The Philadelphia Inquirer in 2019, and a Trade Secrets Lawyer of the Year by Financial Monthly in 2018 and 2019.
