Blank Rome Welcomes Two Corporate Litigation Associates in Los Angeles
Ms. Tajmiri joins the Firm from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. She concentrates her practice on corporate litigation matters, including copyright and trade secret disputes, consumer and employment class actions, contract disputes, regulatory enforcement, and corporate investigations. She is experienced in trials and arbitrations from inception through conclusion, including pre-suit investigations, drafting pleadings and motions at all stages of litigation, discovery disputes, and settlement negotiations. Ms. Tajmiri is admitted into practice in the state of California, and the Northern and Central Districts of California. She received her J.D. and LL.M. from Cornell Law School, and her B.A. in Psychology and Political Science, from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is currently an executive board member of the National Immigration Law Center, and previously served on the organization’s board of directors.
Ms. Hussain joins the Firm from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP. She concentrates her practice on corporate litigation, with emphasis in consumer and industry class actions, entertainment and intellectual property law, complex financial civil litigation, securities fraud, regulatory compliance, and contract disputes. She is experienced in state and federal courts, and alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration. Ms. Hussain is admitted into practice in California, New York, and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, and her B.A., summa cum laude, in Journalism and Advertising, from the University of Oklahoma. Presently, she serves on the board of directors for HomeDog LA, a local animal rescue nonprofit.
