Blank Rome Welcomes Two Associates to the Energy, Environment, and Mass Torts Group
Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Stephen C. Zumbrun and Elaine M. Stoll have joined the Firm as associates in the Energy, Environment, and Mass Torts group, which most recently welcomed Partners Amy L. Barrette and Jeremy A. Mercer in the Pittsburgh office. Mr. Zumbrun is based in the Firm’s Philadelphia office and Ms. Stoll is based in the Cincinnati office.
Mr. Zumbrun joins the Firm from Thomas H. Ayoob III & Associates, LLC. He concentrates his practice on energy and environmental litigation and transactional matters, with additional experience in real estate, zoning, and land use litigation. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Mr. Zumbrun earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he received a certificate in Environmental Law, Science, and Policy. He earned his B.A. in Psychology, cum laude, from the College of Wooster.
Ms. Stoll comes to Blank Rome from Montgomery, Rennie & Jonson. She focuses her current practice on mass tort matters. Her career has concentrated on critical motions and briefs in high-exposure cases nationwide, especially in defense of commercial transportation, product liability, and brain injury litigation. Admitted to practice in Ohio and Kentucky, Ms. Stoll earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she was an editor for the University of Cincinnati Law Review and Human Rights Quarterly. She received her B.A. in Government from Smith College.
