Blank Rome Welcomes Three Associates to the Corporate, M&A, and Securities Group
Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Rachel A. Packer, Maria E. Carnicella, and Manish S. Antani have joined the Firm as associates in the Corporate, M&A, and Securities group, which welcomed Partner James J. Barnes earlier this year in Pittsburgh. Ms. Packer is based in the Firm’s Philadelphia office, Ms. Carnicella is based in the Pittsburgh office, and Mr. Antani is based in the Los Angeles office.
Ms. Packer joins the Firm from Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP. She concentrates her practice on business and corporate law matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, strategic investments and joint ventures, and private equity funds and their portfolio companies. She also focuses on general corporate, partnership, and limited liability company matters and governance, private and public securities offerings, and public company disclosure and SEC filings. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and New York, Ms. Packer earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the American University College of Law, where she served as an associate managing editor for the American University Law Review. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Neuroscience-Philosophy, magna cum laude, from Washington University.
Ms. Carnicella comes to Blank Rome from Cohen & Grigsby, P.C. She focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate matters on behalf of clients in all stages of the corporate lifecycle. She also has experience representing emerging companies, and provides strategic counseling in trademark and intellectual property matters. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Ms. Carnicella earned her J.D. from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, where she served as a senior editor for the Penn State Law Review. She received her B.S. in Science and Technology Studies, with a focus on biomolecular science, from the Polytechnic Institute (now the New York University, Tandon School of Engineering).
Mr. Antani joins from Eisner Jaffe PC. He concentrates his international practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and licensing and distribution agreements, with a strong emphasis in technology and apparel. He also has significant venture capital experience, including drafting and negotiating governing documents for target companies and investors. His joint venture experience includes drafting and negotiating JV agreements in a variety of industries in connection with domestic and international deals. Admitted to practice in California, Mr. Antani earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame and his B.A. in Political Science from Purdue University.
