Blank Rome Welcomes New Real Estate Associate in Philadelphia
Dade Thornton joins Blank Rome from Burleson LLP, where he was senior counsel and a member of the firm’s real estate, corporate, and oil and gas title practice groups. Mr. Thornton concentrates his practice on general real estate matters, with a particular focus on commercial loan transactions, as well as acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, condominiums, subdivisions, and rights-of-way. He also has experience drafting and negotiating instruments for a variety of oil and gas transactions; performing due diligence reviews for acquisitions of oil and gas assets; representing oil and gas companies in land use matters before municipal zoning boards; and reviewing title abstracts and issuing drilling title opinions for exploration and production companies.
Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Ohio, Mr. Thornton received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and his B.A. in Geography with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of Delaware.
