Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Cory R. Bernard has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as an associate in the Real Estate group, which recently welcomed Clara Feldman, partner and chair of the firm’s new Luxury Brands practice, in New York. Cory joins Blank Rome from Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP.
Cory assists clients with the operation and branding of hotel and restaurant assets, as well as the acquisition, disposition, development, financing, and leasing of hotels and other real property.
Cory also works on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including representing developers, institutional investors, real estate investment trusts (“REITs”), renewable energy companies, and healthcare providers in the acquisition, disposition, development, financing, leasing, and operation of energy projects, multifamily residential complexes, office buildings, student housing, senior housing, and industrial facilities.
Admitted to practice in California and Arizona, Cory received his J.D., cum laude, from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Arizona State University, and his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. During law school, Cory served as managing editor of the Arizona State Law Journal and was a Sustainability Law Student Research Fellow.
