Blank Rome Welcomes New Patent Attorney Christopher J. Wilson in Boston

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Christopher (“Chris”) J. Wilson has joined the firm’s Boston office as a patent attorney in the Intellectual Property and Technology practice group, which recently welcomed fellow patent attorneys Anastasia Dodd, Roland F. Rivera Santiago, and Alan Leung, in the Los Angeles, New York, and Washington, D.C., offices, respectively. Chris joins Blank Rome from K&L Gates LLP. 

Chris has a strong scientific foundation and extensive experience in intellectual property law, particularly in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. He counsels clients ranging from startups to global companies on patent portfolio strategy, prosecution, and due diligence. Chris has prepared and prosecuted patent applications involving cutting-edge technologies such as CAR T-cell therapies, CRISPR systems, gene writing, neural and metabolic therapeutics, antibodies, and epigenetic modulation. 

Admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Chris received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, his Ph.D. from Northeastern University, and his B.S. from Quinnipiac University. While in law school, Chris served as a patent technical specialist at a multinational corporation law firm.
