Blank Rome Welcomes New Matrimonial & Family Law Of Counsel in New York

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Alan R. Feigenbaum has joined the Firm’s Matrimonial and Family Law group as Of Counsel in New York. Alan’s significant experience and capabilities will enhance the Firm’s nationally recognized matrimonial and family law team on both the east and west coasts, which has received top-tier rankings and accolades this past year in leading surveys, notably Chambers High Net Worth 2020, 2020 Lawdragon 500 Leading Family Lawyers, and U.S. News‒Best Lawyers 2020 “Best Law Firms”.

Alan joins Blank Rome from Alter, Wolff & Foley LLP, and brings a wealth of experience counseling a diverse range of professionals and their spouses, including business owners, lawyers, investors, and entertainers, on their family law matters, with a notable focus on evaluating the optimal strategies to manage and resolve complex financial and custody disputes.

He is well-versed in managing agreements (separation, prenuptial, and postnuptial) and approaches dispute resolution with an eye toward facilitating cooperation and reducing conflict. Alan also has significant courtroom experience, including first-chair trial experience in domestic relations matters and, at an early stage in his career, examining witnesses before the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Admitted to practice in New York, Alan earned his J.D. from Yeshiva University, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and his B.A. from Tulane University. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and serves as co-chair of the Committee on Legislation for the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Alan speaks and writes frequently on matters of family law.
