Blank Rome Welcomes New Litigation Associate in Philadelphia
Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Oliver R. Katz has joined the Firm’s Philadelphia office as an associate in the General Litigation group, which welcomed associate Jill Lipman Beck to the Pittsburgh office last week as well as numerous litigation attorneys in the Firm’s Philadelphia, Los Angeles, New York, and Wilmington offices throughout the year.
Oliver concentrates his practice on a wide range of general litigation matters. Prior to joining Blank Rome, he was assistant corporation counsel for the Labor and Employment Law Division of the New York City Law Department. In this role, Oliver handled a high-volume case load in both state and federal court focused on wrongful termination and employment discrimination claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the New York State and New York City Human Rights Law.
Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York, Oliver earned his J.D., cum laude, from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and his B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, from Muhlenberg College.
