Blank Rome Welcomes New General Litigation Associate in Philadelphia

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Lee M. Begelman has joined the firm’s Philadelphia office as an associate in the General Litigation practice group.

Lee joins Blank Rome from a federal clerkship with Chief Judge John E. Jones III of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He was previously an associate at an Am Law 100 firm where he represented clients in complex business litigation and white-collar investigations. Lee was also appointed as pro bono special assistant district attorney for Montgomery County, where he conducted preliminary hearings in front of magistrate judges.

“Lee is a great addition to our nationally recognized team,” said Michael A. Iannucci, Partner and Co-Chair of Blank Rome’s General Litigation practice group. “His prior law firm experience, coupled with his federal clerkship, make him an immediate asset.”

Lee’s addition further bolsters the national presence of the firm’s General Litigation group, which recently welcomed senior attorney Hilary F. Korman in New York as well as associates Anna E. Currier in Wilmington, Amanda M. Noonan in Chicago, Allen Ho and Saam Takaloo in Los Angeles, Triston “Chase” O’Savio and Robert C. Levicoff in Philadelphia, Jill Lipman Beck and Ashlyn M. Grim in Pittsburgh, and M. David Tambussi in Princeton.

Lee is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. He received his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, summa cum laude and Order of the Coif, and his B.A., cum laude, from Wake Forest University.
